Following the closing of the Mother Child Center in September 2008 and realizing the need for reduced cost women's health services in the community, ICAP began development of the Women's Clinic. The Women's Clinic is sponsored by ICAP in collaboration with Henry County Hospital and Henry County Health Department. Services are provided at the ICAP facility, 615 State Road 38W, New Castle.

Breast Cancer: have a mammogram every 1-2 years starting at age 40

Cervical Cancer: have a pap smear every 1-3 years if you have ever been sexually active or if you are between the ages of 21 and 65

High Blood Pressure: have your blood pressure checked at least every 2 years. High blood pressure is 140/90 or higher.
Call the Women's Clinic to schedule an appointment. All mammograms are performed at Henry County Hospital.

The most important things you can do to stay healthy are: get recommended screening tests, be tobacco free, be physically active, eat a healthy diet, maintain a healthy weight and take preventive medications if you need them.
